Sam Lazar Riviello

Sam Lazar Riviello played a pivotal role in the successful launch and rapid growth of Sandbox Films and now serves as Head of Operations & Events, overseeing all administrative, financial, and operational functions for the company, as well as strategic planning, facilities oversight, and the production of events that advance Sandbox’s mission and brand. Prior to joining Sandbox, Sam worked in the executive office at EngenderHealth, a global nonprofit organization focused on improving women’s health and advancing reproductive rights in more than 20 countries. In this role, she advised the CEO and senior leadership team on cross-departmental initiatives, Board relations, and donor engagement.  With nearly two decades in operations, she is deeply committed to building inclusive and effective systems that empower teams to do their best work. Sam holds a Master’s degree (MAS) with concentration in Public Administration & Nonprofit Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelor of Arts in Film Marketing from Brooklyn College. Sam sits on the NE Regional Advisory Board of Dogs for Better Lives.
